Top 5 Aussie Parenting Blogs of the Week – No. 12

We had the whole cycle of pregnancy and birth happening in our Top 5 Aussie parenting blogs this week. From one woman’s labour when she didn’t even know she was pregnant, to not being able to lose your baby weight (and not really caring) to the reality of those blurry first weeks we were doing the newborn thing all over again.

Then, of course, there’s all those years afterwards – but we’ve got you covered with a ‘how to’ guide for parenting while you’re hungover, to toddler food ideas… including eating off the floor!

Top 5 Aussie Parenting Blogs of the Week – No. 11

We have a need to know, us parents. And who better to help us learn than other parents who happen to write about it on the internet? This week we learned about how speech pathologists can help with baby feeding issues, post-baby weight issues, the need for co-sleeping, even when we hate it, and why changing childcare centres might just be the best thing for your child.

Well, except for The Notorious MUM, who snuck into the Top 5 again to whinge about her drinking… or lack thereof. Love your work.

Others are struggling with cutting down on swearing around the kids, while others are finding hard to make it in the parenting gig at all.

Top 5 Aussie Parenting Blogs of the Week – No. 9

This week we are over it and we are rebelling, parents of Australia! We’re fed up with the Thermomix epidemic, supposedly legit toddler struggles (what have they got to complain about anyway?!), getting toddlers to bed and, just generally, being a mum.

But hey, as Notorious MUM explains, don’t sweat the big stuff. Just roll with it and cross your fingers.

Oh, and before you head off, remember to head over to our Ergobaby giveaway – $349.00 worth of awesome baby carrier and breastfeeding pillow up for grabs. It’s all to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week 2015. We’ve all linked up our own breastfeeding stories so head on over and have a read – I think between us 100+ or so Aussie parenting bloggers we’ve seen it all – breastfeeding through tongue ties, low milk supply, twins and even down syndrome.
